Enjoy delicate finger sandwiches, a scone with jam, clotted cream or butter and a selection of sweet treats along with a varied selection of teas and coffees to choose from. Whilst you enjoy your afternoon tea you will discover some fascinating facts about an aspect of our collections from one of our curatorial team. The Curators will show you a selection of items from our stores for you to handle and will tell you the fascinating stories behind them.
On Thursday 14th March, Mike Palmer, our Keeper of Natural History and Geology will tell the story of the famous and remarkable Aylesbury Duck whilst you enjoy your afternoon tea.
