A one-day introductory workshop creating art that can work to enhance your house or garden.
Tony will guide you through the ‘How to do’ approach using a range of materials. Looking through some samples of finished pieces the emphasis will then be on experimentation, sharing and exploring ideas and personal approaches, to help us and give momentum to the process of creating new work.
The focus will not be on rushing to finish a first piece, but more importantly give us understanding of how to bring about a confident conclusion.
Materials are supplied by the tutor and include cement board and a basic range of ceramic mosaic pieces, glass beads, stone, marbles, buttons and beads etc.
Feel free to bring along small items of personal interest that you might like to include in your work.
This class is suitable for adults and students aged 16+ years. Don’t forget to bring a packed lunch.
