The latest murder mystery event, by Karen Banfield.
In 1936 there is a lot of activity in a particular railway station waiting room. Station master Tom Field tries to keep everything in order but is persuaded to allow fundraising stalls for orphans to be set up. Add in a regular train spotter, the daughter of the local manor house, a visitor with a murky past and before long a murder is committed. What luck that the police were on the train that’s just arrived, to be able to solve this terrible crime.
At the end of act one, guests will be able to work as teams at their table to make their first guess as to who the murderer is. At the end of act two, there’s a final chance to guess ‘whodunnit’ and why. The format of the evening is to sit back and enjoy a full-length play, without mixing with the cast or asking any questions. The team with the most points wins a prize.
