Join Anna Hayward and get creative with air-dry clay in the school holidays!
Each 3 hour session gives young creatives a chance to work on a pottery project guided by an expert tutor. We will be using air-drying clay, so your creations can be taken home to be painted once dry!
Pottery Dinosaurs
Once roaming the earth freely, dinosaurs now lie beneath the ground as fossils and footprints – together we will make our own dinosaurs, either from history or from imagination.
Rainforest Guardians
Even the mighty trees of Rainforests need protection – come and create your very own rainforest tree and its larger-than-life guardian helping to keep it safe.
Sunken City
What mysteries lie beneath the ocean? What ancient civilisations or abandoned strongholds? Come and create your very own sunken city scene from clay, along with the story of its origin, or its demise…
Treasure Box
Come and create an ornate pottery treasure box for any and all trinkets, keep-sakes or perhaps even a secret stash. These boxes will have fitted lids and can be decorated in a variety of ways to make them totally unique!
Spaces are limited, so be sure to book in advance, and don’t forget to bring an apron with you on the day. These sessions use air-dry clay, so bring a box or container to take your finished piece home with you.Visit the Queens Park Arts Centre website to find out what you will make at each session.
