Grab a song sheet and sing along to your favourite Christmas carols, accompanied by a brass band and local choir. Hot chocolate and mince pies are also served.
Bring your family and enjoy some relaxed festive singing together, in the warmth and comfort of St Mary’s Church.
This is an informal community carol singing evening, where you are invited to help fill the church to the rafters with traditional Christmas Carols in a very relaxed, warm, friendly atmosphere. Children from Bedgrove Junior School Choir along with Caduceus Brass Quintet and The Next Stage Choir will lead the carols, with Dez Kay from Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio compering the evenings singing. We will be serving tea, coffee and hot chocolate with a mince pie or two while raising funds for the Mayor’s charities, Emmett’s Genies and Aylesbury Foodbank.
Wander round the church while enjoying the singing and the entire family can get into the festive spirit with a good old Christmas sing-a-long. Christmas jumpers and festive accessories are very much encouraged. Please note that this is predominately a standing event, with priority seating available for those in need.
