Located in the historic heart of Aylesbury in a listing building, the family friendly museum tells the story of the people and landscapes of Buckinghamshire. In the streets of the old town discover the historical Georgian and Tudor buildings that lead to St Mary’s Church where you can enjoy live classical chamber music most Thursday lunchtimes.

You can also discover Aylesbury’s historic past with a free-to-use digital heritage trail available with the popular guided walk app ‘Trail Tale’. The 2.5k trail route is easy to follow and highlights areas of historic interest over the ages through photos, facts and audio clips.

Aylesbury Waterside Theatre can be found in the heart of the town centre and boasts an exciting programme of productions including West End spectaculars, comedy, musicals and children’s shows. David Bowie has become synonymous with Aylesbury after he performed the word debut of two of his albums at Friars Aylesbury Music Club in the early 1970’s.
