Join Aylesbury Town Council this Father’s Day for our exciting and thrilling Soapbox Derby! Whether you’ve built a kart (pre-registered only) or would like to enjoy the races as a spectator. DJ Dan Blaze will be providing entertainment and music on the day!
The event opens at 11am with the first race at 12pm.
Make your own giant bubbles in the Bubble Zone, design a kart or take home a Father’s Day gift in our arts and craft area or get stuck into drumming with HW Drums after enjoying the showcase of classic cars from Haddenham Classics!
Maybe you’ll feel inspired to enter next year after meeting the teams in the pit bays and watching the homemade karts racing down the hill. There’ll be a chance to register for next year if you do!
Food and drink will be available to purchase on the day with a variety of sweet and savoury caterers – Amor Nachos, OMG Street Food, Flavoursome Foods, Ranieri’s Patisserie, Coffee Stop and Jay’s Ices.
What prizes are up for grabs?
We’ll need your help picking the Best Looking Kart. Voting will take place on the day. Trophies and medals will also be awarded for the fastest Junior and Senior drivers. Event sponsors, Michael Anthony Estate Agents, will be judging the Team Spirit Award.
Parking
We advise you to park in the town centre car parks and walk the short distance to the venue, which is beside Whitehill Surgery just off the Oxford Road HP19 8EN. See Accessibility Information below for Blue Badge parking.

Please be aware that we will have photographers at the event whose pictures will be used for publicity. Should you not wish to be included in any of the pictures please advise the Event Crew at the Meeting Point.
